This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2005 and 2011. The project’s overall global environment objective was to “protect the global marine environment in which the Arctic plays an important role”. The evaluation entailed assessment of project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determined the outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project and their sustainability.
