UN Environment policy and strategy for gender equality and the environment (2015)

For the first time, UNEP has adopted a comprehensive gender policy to guide it's projects (e.g. ensuring women's and men's equal participation) and operations (e.g. via staff recruitment practices) are more gender-sensitive.
